Commentary:
The Church of St.Alphonsus, over at Novena. One of the older churches in Singapore, and one of the longest established ones.

I was brought there as a child to visit it, with my Mom, and my Godparents. It never really left my memory as one of my favourite churches.
I remember complaining that it was such a warm church, and how there wasn't any airconditioning. I vaguely remember someone(prolly my Godma or Ma, they're strict with my childish whining) telling me off.
"This is a place of worship, not some shopping mall, ah boy!"

It's true. I make the trip here at least monthly, to say a bit of a prayer.
I won't say I'm the most religious guy around, but it helps to say a prayer.

It's like a goal that you want set in stone, really.

Justin Lok and I were hanging out on Chu Er, because we missed our respective partners a lot, so we had a HAPPY GAY TIME DAY the whole day.
Our dinner was Macdonalds, and we had a Twister Fry that was literally LINKED TOGETHER. We did NOT play with it. We DID NOT LINK IT purposely. A touch of Serendipity.

I was walking from MYCA, at Zouk. Walking towards Clarke Quay MRT, and I decided to whip out my camera for this shot.

Okay, I can't get away from this picture's commentary. Why did I take a picture of Singapore Polytechnic's Polycentre Sports Hall?

This is because Kenjutsu training is held here, for my SP Counterparts. I frankly don't visit here very often, but when I do, it's empty, and perfect for training! (BIG WIDE OPEN SPACES<3)

Now, I was here last night for Battle of the Bands, and I was thoroughly bored witless from the music. (Not the fault of the bands, really. More the acoustics of the place made the music UNLISTENABLE. I only got into 2 bands, because it was catchy!)

I found the idea of listening to a rock concert at a (usually) training spot funny. xD

Coca-Cola is the Rick Astley of Soda Pop, for me. It's that particular soda that I will never stop drinking, and also the soda that really will 'Never gonna give me up.' and 'Never gonna let me down'. ^^

It's a weird affection for a soda, but it's the soda that is the most readily available, as opposed to Mountain Dew or Dr.Pepper:3

Took this picture at E2Max, at the monotype tourney we were having. Pokemon.

Commentary:
I start the challenge with a picture of my Homestreet, Jurong West Street 42.
It's the late Afternoon, and I took this picture with my iPhone 4.


This street has been, and will be the start of many awesome and bad days I have, or will have, and it's a beautiful place to start a day.
The picture was taken in the late afternoon, but the scenery in the area is truly...timeless, in the sense that it never really changes.

Introduction.

So, why am I starting YET another blog, you might ask.

Well, my other blog is more on personal ideas, personal thoughts, and everyday life, really.
I start this little side project/challenge under the inspiration of my online confidante, and close friend, Jackie Tan.

To me, Photography has always had a presence in my life. I fell in love with the idea of taking a picture--a Physical Picture, to frame up and to remember as a memory.
I've always loved scrapbooking when I was in secondary school, and though I've stopped scrapbooking as a hobby, and I'm slowly stopping my habit of writing in my diary, I've never given up on Photography as a medium.

So, end 2011, I got a Prosumer/Semi-Pro Fujifilm camera, thanks to my Father, and I'm out and about doing my hobby again!

All my Photos are barely untouched, and have NOT gone through post-processing...

...Because I'm a Photoshop idiot, really. xD
